We no longer get April and May showers we get these violent storms instead.

Glad you made it out ok, up on a freeway like that you really don't have anywhere to go. Can't get out of the car and crawl into a ditch.

My wife's main office in Houston is closed due to lack of power.

I understand we're expecting another round this evening

Heading for Helen GA next weekend, going out of my way to avoid Texas to Florida I-10 traffic both Friday afternoon and Monday evening.
