6-Pack Sampler

Good morning bros,

I've lately been intrigued by craft brews, and smaller batch beer, and thought that I would pose a question to the board:

If you were to put together a "dream team" mixed 6-pack of beers, what would they be? I know that just like smokes, everyone has diffedrent tastes that appeal to different palletes, but what would be a good starter lineup for someone looking to delve a little more into the craft beer side of things. Thanks in advance bros, I appreciate all the feedback which I'm sure this thread will generate.

I am sure you will get a lot of replies, Dan. I wish I could help you out here but you know most of them I would recommend to you. Hopefully those who reply can recommend some stuff you can find readily available and not some ultra small batch stuff from 8 years ago.

I could do it, but i'm entering holiday stand down at work witch means i'm working 2 12hr days off 24hrs and working 2 12hr nights...until the 27th...But after that I'm willing to have you guys over and drink some brews, or if that gets old I've got about $600 worth of liquor

I need some more vodka (since I'm drinking bloody mary's right now) and a little more rum...Other than that I've got a little bit of everything in the house or garage...

Dan, CraigMac is right....there are so, so many out there, Stouts, Porters, IPA's, Pilsners, Lager's, Hefe's and more!

Take Brian up on his offer, it's sounds like a great way to try new beers and find out what you really like!

....and believe it or not, the glass you drink your beer from does make a difference in my opinion!

The only think missing from these pics are a 1 1/2gal bottle of crown,sailor jerry rum and an empty bottle of vodka and a 12pk of ranger ipa

Dan, you might be surprised that places like Wegman's and Whole Foods have a pretty nice collection of Craft Beers now. Some of them actually have "growler" filling stations.

I wish we had either of those places within a 3hr drive. But come 2013 we shall have a whole foods market...

Yeah, it sounds like you haven't been in Total Wine or Grape and Gourmet yet, a ton of good brews and right there near Hilltop too. Being local I know we don't have anything worth a damn in grocery stores and never heard of Whole Foods or wegmans or whatever.....
