First started smoking cigars when I was about 17, I am 23 now. Started off smoking the occasional cigar with my father or god father on holidays or special events and was content with that until a couple months ago when I decided to purcase my first humidor. I have since smoked about 20 cigars (I forgot to write down the names of them, but they were all fairly cheap). I am coming here to learn more about cigars and to hopefully figure out just exactly what I like to smoke and grow my knowledge of cigars.

As of right now I am sticking with the <3$ a stick cigars until I really get used to smoking a cigar and enjoying the flavors.

Any advice or tips of where to begin on this website would be awesome, theres just so much information here.

Thanks!:santa2:

Welcome from the Bahamas. These guys will give you all of the help you could possible need. I also just got a humidor and am getting into smoking more frequently and have been sticking with middle of the line samplers to refine pallet then prob will move to higher end cigars. All I can say is read all the posts on here and ask the guys questions, they are MORE than happy to answer and then some. Welcome

what so you call a collection of useless nuts? buckeyes!

sorry, couldn't resist! o) and welcome from a redneck neighbor to yours south!

take your time, and pace your journey to your needs (time, enjoyment, monetary constraints), but you probably want to get into the $5ish range. there are some GREAT smokes out there in that level, and that will not really break anyone. in my regular rotation, for about five: tatuaje havanah VI hermosos, brick house corona larga, alec bradley american classic toro or torpedo, and oliva serie o. also, fan faves in that tag are casa magna, la aroma de cuba (red box), c.a.o. la traviata, most of the oliva lines (including cain and nub), the fuente straight lines and the chateau series... actually not a bad time to be learning cigars, or to be smoking on a budget, really.

oh, and find a couple tatuaje soon. right now, talking cigars without knowing a little about tatuaje is like talking zombie flix without including romero. braiiiiins.

Welcome! What part of Ohio are you from?
