The LP event I attended last night had no T52s, no LP40s and no dirty rats. Maximum purchase was 3 sticks of LP9s and they had a few FPPs which were a max of 2.

I was really hoping to support my local B&M buy buying a box or two, but never got the chance. I was bummed :(

I see other events had some VIVAs, but I was not so lucky.

I guess I just live in the wrong area and hate that my only option is to order online. I'd rather support my local store than do that, but I'm left no choice, even at "events".

Xingpao - what is the name of your local retailer where you attended the event? Sorry for the limits that some stores are doing. While I don't necessarily blame them, this is not something that DE asks of them or suggests.

I'm really glad to hear something like this. I get so sick of hearing that the original release of something is the best. What? You mean after seeing how a blend matures, there isn't anything you can tweak to make it better, or at least keep it the same? I obviously don't know a lot about the cigar business, but it's nice to see something improve and get rolled right into the line without having to come out with something "new" just because we got some "higher quality tobacco".

Oh, and the T52 Robo I smoked yesterday was great! Hope I can find some of this new batch before it's gone.

Da bruddahs in Hawaii are foaming at the mouth waiting for their T52s to come in. I only make it worse when I tell them that they are shipping soon and they are beautiful, oily, rich...ummm I just drooled!11:grin:

Tell me about that "New Release Year One Majic", then poopoo problem, my brother. Seen it happen so many many times.

This is a sad thing, as any blend should really get better as the time goes on, as it allows you to have more control, not less. A blend is alive and needs to be nurtured.

The T52 had a good three years of beauty, then the super duper thick wrapper landed and took like over two years to cure. Well, we left the money off the table and just waited for the capa to cure beautifully. We good now.

Giant ... snag em and do tell.
