One of our BOTL brothers gave me a link to an online vendor, and they offer "Sampler" packages. Since I'm completely new to this, I'd like some opinions on a few of them if you wouldn't mind. Now, I know this could get into a Mac vs PC type debate since all this is typically personal preference, but if I get an overwhelming response that something sucks, I probably won't bother with it. That being said, input appreciated on the following:
J Fuego Toro Collection
CAO Sampler
Ambrosia Sampler

Thanks in advance! :smokingme

The only thing I've had from the j fuego line is the 777, I really like it. Really nice bargain stick as they can usually be had for $3/stick from cigar monster or some other package deals. Not a big fan of CAO in general so I usually steer clear of them.

And if you like flavored sticks, something from Drew Estate is certainly the way to go, IMO.

Not very familiar with j fuego sticks

CAO sampler is nice, good smokes IMO

Never tried the Ambrosias, they are infused cigars similar to Acids so they are going to be a lot different than your average smoke. If youve never tried an infused before I suggest you buy one to try and make sure you like them.

I bought that CAO sampler a while back and really enjoyed all of them in there except the CAO Italia. I have never had anything from Ambrosia and only a few of the J Fuego's. I feel that you would not go wrong with the J Fuego's because of the ones I had they were great and the others I have heard great things.

jesus fuego has made some good stuff, and a lot of people dig on CAO. the ambrosia is infused. it is by drew estates, who does it very well, but it is infused.

none of these would be personally first picks, but if given as a gift, i would consider all of them smokable.

edit: and, with $24 shipping, you can do better. wait.

If I were you my fellow Canadian friend, I'd check out the Newbie Trade Thread if you're looking to buy or trade for some ceegars. There are a couple good ol' Canadians in there who I'd bet would do a lot better for your $30-$50 than any online sampler you'll find.

PM me if you need more info.

Are you serious $24 for shipping? That is crazy!!!! Where are they shipping from/to.
Welcome to being a cigar smoker in Canada :cursing:

A lot of the larger online retailers (famous) will even charge you duty/taxes (100% increase in price) right at the time of your order.

Yeah, I got in on the Newbie thread, but I'm awaiting my sponsor's PM. I don't know who "Brent" is so I'm stuck for the moment.

Thanks for the input guys. I've got a sampler coming shortly thanks to a super smooth and quick noob deal with Brent. Can't wait to see my new stash! :-D I'll have to find a way to get some samplers shipped to some friends in the U.S. and get them to mule it over the border next time they come up.
