Just got back from vacay last weekend...

We hit Legoland, the Zoo, and SeaWorld. My kid loved Legoland, but after having done Disneyland last Spring Break, Legoland was not a place we'd return. My son had a blast..but it's definitely catered to i'd say 4-10 year olds. My big ass barely fit on the roller coasters..lol.

SeaWorld was my favorite. Those Killer Whales are amazing....

Sat in the Splash Zone and got soaked, but loved it of course. As did our son..

Wow, great pics! Judging by the quality of pics you have a nice camera... weren't you worried about it getting wet???

It's all about the glass Ryan, or so we've learned from my BIL who's a super camera/tech nerd. We've got a solid camera (Nikon D40), but an amazing lense (Nikon VR 18-200mm).

And that was just one of the reasons for the ponchos...lol.

Love Sea World, but have not been since 2 spring breaks ago, did Disney last year and cruise out of long beach this year. Funny when I reflect back 20 years ago when spring break meant going to Daytona Beach. California with the family is much more my speed now

Haven't been since high school but all I can ever think of is Jaws III. If you see Lewis Gossett Jr. walking around and ordering people about, well, avoid the underwater venues.

Awesome times! Did you get any breweries in while you were here?
I went with what I thought was a very realistic goal...of finding a brew pub that had some Alpine Duet or Nelson on tap in San Diego. Had a list of all the places from the website they distribute to. I checked them all, by phone or their websites when we were there, and not one had either.

I was very close to making the hour or so drive straight to the Alpine brewery, but the opportunity just never presented itself unfortunately.

I did find a hole in the wall beer store close to our hotel though that had Pliny, and Ballast Point stuff....and a ton of other great beers there, so that was a nice consolation!

That sounds like most liquor stores around here... it has taken a long time, but the stores have finally begun to embrace the idea that this is a beer town. What is more shocking is that it wasn't until about 5 years ago that the BARS began to carry local brew... shocking when you consider BP has been around for about 15 years and Stone has been here for...???

Regardless, next time, please hit me up. :smokingme
