Anybody outside of the usa every had a kinder surprise egg? I am been trying to source some outside of the us..wondered how they taste

They are very common in Europe. My wife had them all the time in German and Austria, and I've gotten them in France before. I think the European ones use slightly better chocolate.

I just Googled "Kinder Surprise" and it appears the reason you can't locate any is because there is a prohibition on their sale or import into the United States.

you can usually get them in middle eastern stores in the US, at least around here.

Meh, I haven't lived in Europe since 96 but I seem to remember the chocolate wasn't very good, however, you sometimes got some pretty cool choking hazard toys.

My grandparents and cousins would bring these things back from Norway all the time (I have relatives living there) and I loved them. Havent had them in years though

The only time I had them was when I was visiting Germany and Austria. Weren't anything special from my memory, just cheap chocolate with a vending machine sub par toy inside.
