hanging up the cruiser for a courtroom. as of 5/4, no more patrol. no more working 12.5 hour shifts. no more nights. and no more weekends. i'll be m-f, 8-5, working beautiful downtown San Diego at the Superior Courthouse.

i've been renting a room out of my house. he'll be gone by 5/1. though i'll miss my monthly free cash, i won't miss him. i won't be 'outta here' as much as i used to, but it'll give me a chance to store up my vacation hours again.

Stef has me looking into being a host for foreign exchange students. hmmmmm....

get to visit a neuro-surgeon next week to discuss neck surgey. definetly not looking forward to that.

relationship? after 11 years, we're as far as we're gonna go. nothing wrong with that, cept someone wants more.

gonna be a whole new scene! and with it will come a whole lot of opportunities. guess, we'll just wait and see how this plays out. :thumbsup:

You can make good money hosting foreign exchange students. My wife used to work for a language school in downtown, and all their students were 18+ and paid well for someone to put them up. The only snag is that you have to host breakfast/dinner for them.
