I know there have been threads on underrated cigars.... But I want to mention a few smokes that seem to get no play, but have become favorites of mine. I try a lot of different cigars, from a lot of small or lesser known makers. Call it cigar ADHD, but I just like to give these smokes a chance when I can find them. Not all are good, but some are great. I thought I'd take a minute to mention a few and maybe hear about some you may have tried.
Antonio Benitez robusto maduro. I'm smoking one tonight and it is top notch. Full bodied, rich maduro flavor and just the right amount of spice. This one has a rich sweetness that comes and goes. Nice complexity, great construction and well priced.
La Cima classic. Strong and spicy, but rich and balanced as well.
Pedro Martin gold. If you like 601 Black, NWC, or MOW Virtue this one will please...., but IMHO it's as good or better rott than any of those.
Forcade/Giralda. Blended by Jaime Garcia, these are excellent smokes that come in a broadleaf maduro or Ecuadorian wrapper. Can't find them in a shop very often, but they are worth looking for.
There's a lot more, but I'll stop there....
