[SELF SERVING POST]

Just got back from the Chattanooga TweetUp - great time - highly recommended - Burns is an amazing Cigar Store and what a great bunch of folks. It was a real pleasure to be there...

One thing I learned from talking with so many consumers is how unknown the details about the Corona Viva is...

If you are an LP fan and are looking for a solid alternative smoke at a much lower price point, this is a must try stick. It is basically the core UC blend, but it is one that we tweaked to make it a bit stronger so it better suited my personal tastes when it comes to cigars. This is my UC of choice and one that I think will satisfy those that are looking for an LP-style of smoke.

Btw, fwiw we are currently working on blending a Robusto and Toro in the Undercrown Viva blend...

Steve,

I love the LP lines. I have not yet had a chance to sample the Corona Viva (or the Papas Fritas) for that matter. I have seent he description you provided here somewhere else also.

Have you given any thought to blending something more medium? I find the Undercrown leaning that way, but anything else on the horizon?? Sometimes, I really crave a flavorful, medium smoke that's not too heavy or for earlier in the day.

Love the UC series, I smoked a T52, LP#9 and a UC toro all unbanded in a blind review, I actually liked the UC the best somehow. I have been a T52 whore since the first one I smoked, liked the UC series and didn't have much opinion of the #9s. But after that test the UC is looking more attractive then ever!

I smoked my first one of these the other night. Tons of smoke coming off the tip, but I had a hard time getting a really good mouthful of smoke out of it. I don't think I got the full experience and I wasn't really moved by it. That being said, the amount of smoke off the tip was really amazing.

Too bad because I was really excited while it was in my humidor. Maybe I'll pick up another one down the road to try again.

Really looking forward to trying Baitfish for my first MUWAT!

Thanks for posting Steve, always a good read.

I love the +11 and the baitfish will definitely be one of my favorite winter smokes, viva in different sizes will be a new treat...but of what few ligas I have had the chance to get my hands on I love and since there is only one indoor smoking lounge around my neck of the area I save them to be had there...thanks Mr. Saka for the info as you just saved me some time haha.

Dr Pepper is awesome. Goes great with any cigar! Though I do miss the Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper. Oh wait. Going off topic here. Are the UC Vivas general release? I've gotta hunt for them if so.

Yes they are Solarius. They should be fairly easy to find locally, they aren't restricted to Liga accounts or anything of the sort.

The Vivas have become one of my go to daily smokes. Rotate it with a few others. Great especially for the price.

Anyone liken the Viva to the Dirty Rat? To me they are very similar and I quite enjoy both.
I actually prefer the Viva to the Dirty Rat. It has a much better flavor profile. All it took was one try to know I loved the Viva, and to buy a box!
