I'm still looking for my first Ratzilla and now there's a new rat to chase?

JD and/or Steve,

Let me know if you need any help in your QC department. I'd be more than happy to do some "quality testing" for you on a Ratzilla or Velvet Rat

Just let me know and I'll send you my addy.

I can't even get my hands on more of the Dirty Rat, much less try for something even more limited...
I shall live vicariously through some of you guys and your reviews...

Ahh another one to add to my list of sticks to try. Drew Estate have been making some cracker blends lately. I eagerly await the papa fritas release also

"While the package has never been opened, the tobacco inside is not for consumption"
Uh... WUT?
Yeah I saw this too. Maybe the seller can't advertise the tobacco, but just the boxes themselves per eBay's tobacco policy?
Exactly right. You can't sell tobacco on eBay. You can sell boxes and bands, though. That is the loophole of eBay. I'm pretty sure the buyer will end up smoking the tobacco that is not to be consumed.

After being around here for a few years, its funny to see how the tides shift. What is really funny is that, while the majority think it is crazy, there are people that willingly pay these kinds of prices.....for cigars.

Lucky for me, and in turn, people that go after LEs, I bowed out of the chase years ago. I feel like too many LEs and one-offs soil can soil a brand (viaje anyone?). I also feel it leads to poorer quality products over time. Don't shoot me, just how I feel.

Also funny to note is how the monster craze is barely mentioned on here. I know it's most likely due to S&S, but still.

That being said, I don't hate on ANYONE that chases these types of things. In fact, I actually enjoy it when someone posts about their success in doing so. Just felt like adding my .02 cents.

I can say I am glad I stopped before all of the Liga stuff started coming out! One of the best products out right now, and lord knows I would be on the hunt.

That ebay deal doesn't seem absurdly high to me. That is about $215 per box of very popular and htf cigars. While it's not in my budget, there are a lot of wealthy cigar enthusiasts out there who consider $1500 chump change. I wonder what that haul will eventually sell for.
