Officially Employed

Well guys it's official. I am officially employed in Milwaukee with a paying job with benefits. I know I haven't been searching as long as some people have been in this economy, but this feels like a huge relief. I'm employed by a CPA firm here, so a job in my field is even more to be thankful for! Just wanted to say thanks to BOTL for being a place of support for everyone who is a member! This place really is a place to get away from everything that's going on. The humor and insight that is constantly shared among (relative) strangers is something that isn't too common anymore! Anyways, just wanted to day thanks to all the Brothers and Sisters on the forum!!

BOTL is an awesome place!

Well I graduated in May and hadn't had any prospects until October. Like I said, I know it could be way worse and I'm not trying to pity myself or anything. I'm just really thankful and thought I would share it! Thanks guys!

Congratulations! It is difficult being a youth these days. Those of us with a bit of plume used to be able to get a job when we wanted one with never a thought. You put the time in to a field and it is great to be working at something that you really enjoy and are trained for. I wish that all of your era had the same luck.

Throw away the dog rockets, start smoking some real tobacco and enjoy your new career.

Well I went to school up here but I'm moving from Illinois technically. I love Milwaukee and hope to frequent those great places!!
