I'm looking for 10-20 guys for a review panel of all cigars smoked next year. I hope to be able to shed some light on just how many CC/NCs are plugged vs non plugged you smoke.
Requirements:
I will require 6 months time on botl min.
You will have to be able to track all cigars smoked Jan 1-Dec 31st next year.(CC/NC)
You will be required to post your results once a month for Data processing.
Nc vs CC percentage does not matter
Not only will this give us a look into plugged cigars( country of origin/brand/year) it will be fun to personally track our smoking habits.

IF U ARE INTERESTED, EVEN IF YOUR SMOKING LEANS ONE WAY OR THE OTHER FOR A CERTAIN PREFERENCE, POST YOUR NAME AND INTEREST BELOW!

Sounds fun but I couldn't do the 50/50 or even 75/25 NC/CC. Good luck guys and have fun!
I'm the same although having this as a motivation might give me an excuse to buy some CC's. Im up for it if allowed! Sounds like useful fun

Btw, I HATE plugged cigars- such a waste

If you have trouble getting enough people, you could also have a couple people who smoke CCs exclusively and a couple who smoke NCs exclusively which would keep the balance.

Look forward to seeing the results. :)

I'll wait to see who responds with interest, gather all the averages then make a list. We need to try and get to 50/50 as a whole. It won't be perfect but should still give some insight/data on where we stand on plugged cigars. We may indeed have a few guys on both sides that are heavy one way or the other.

dude, GREAT idea, and looking forward to the results! unfortunately lean on the southern releases as of yet, or i would gladly help.

actually, to suggest, possibly one each exclusive NC smoker and CC smoker, as control groups?

Same here - great idea though.

If you end up with enough people to get a large enough sample size and the 50/50 by person is dropped, then ill circle back.

Java we just may do a couple of each. If I can find the right mix. In fact I think you'll make a great lab rat! Thanks for joining! ;)
At this point guys post your name if you are interested!!! We will get a list for both sides and average it out.

I have been tracking my smokes for the last 2 years, though not making notations of plugs.

I smoke about 95% Cuban, if you end up needing someone like me (i.e., you sign another BOTL up who smokes 95% NC), I would be happy to add the "plug" notation to the tracking I do.

I'm up for this! I keep track of all the cigars I smoke anyway, so adding the plugged-not plugged thing is not too much bother.

Right now I'm at about 80%/20% NC/CC, but that might move more towards CC next year, and average around 10/sticks per week. Let me know if that's good enough.

Also, I wonder if we could add another category besides "plugged" and "not plugged," like "too tight" or something. Obviously a cigar that doesn't draw is "plugged," but more often than that I get cigars that draw a little but not enough (and the flavor is ruined because of it). Do you want to add another category, or should we just consider a cigar to be "plugged" if it's too tight to smoke properly?
