Papas Fritas..... 3rd one I've smoked. About to be the third one I pitched halfway in. I get a super bitter aftertaste on the back of the palete with these. Kinda saddens me since so many people hyped em up. *shrug*

AB Prensado. Ok flavor... Terrible combustion. Went out about 10 times... No joke. Bummer because I tend to enjoy most AB sticks.

That's a shocker. I'm into my second tin & they have been delightful. I think it's just bad luck right there.

I enjoyed my first Paul Garmirian Symphony 20...
How was it??? I've been sitting on one for a while.
To start I will say that if they weren't so expensive I'd have a box sitting here. I will pick up at least one more to sit on for a while. The size I had was a Connoisseur (6x52) which my local B&M sells for $17, with the tax it was a little over $19.

The construction was perfect. The draw was great as well. For me, it started with spice in the first third which mellowed out to a creamy sweet smoke with a hint of spice for the 2nd third and was consistent down to the nub. The strength initially seemed to be medium but for me it built so its probably medium to full. I don't know if this is one of those sticks that get better over time or one that you should smoke if you got them. My guess is that it will get even better over time. I'd save it for a special occasion smoke and enjoy it.

I learned about it from the StogieGeeks podcast. Maybe one of those guys can jump in with their assessment and recommendation as to how long you can sit on these.

Happy New Year!
