Got her holding 65 degrees with some activated carbon in there to kill the smell. Will probably get some newspaper tomorrow per the things I have read here.

I am working on calibrating my hygrometers right now.

Gettin' ready! :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Congrats!!

I got the same model almost two months ago. It's been holding steady at 63-65% humidity top to bottom throughout the interior with 2 pounds of Heartfelt beads in the bottom and no fans, and I've only had to rehydrate the beads once. So little maintenance, I love it! I have a set of cedar shelves and drawers on order that should finally be arriving by the end of this week, but I've had it full up with boxes for several weeks now. I can't stress how much I love this thing. Beats the hell out of constantly adding water to three desktop humis, and now I have room to age a few boxes. You're going to love it!

Thanks guys! I'm pretty stoked (or is it "toked"?)

I was always fighting with my coolerdor, always adding water and the temperature was never right. I had to keep it in the downstairs closet because that is the coolest place in house. I had to fight through junk to get to my smokes. This will be far better, I believe.

This is upstairs by my bed and I slept to the sound of thermoelectric cooling last night.... ahhhhhhh
