Just got a great package of goodies from ATL. As most of you already know, the man is a true gentleman (as far as cigar trades go).

Thanks a bunch!!

Nice hits guys. This is what lights the fire especially if a couple of these turn out to be favorites. If you're itching for another trade, head on over to the Non-Newb Blind Trade and read the first post. It's good clean fun!

Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if this is open to international members or not. I'm in Australia and would love to trade if possible. Please put me down on the list as a noob if that's alright. Thanks
Adam

I don't want to seem pushy or inpatient, but is CaTeacher the only one who sets noobs up with a sponsor?
Don't worry, you just hit both. Give the guy a minute. Go read the Podman thread where everyone told the guy not to even ask about his shit when it wasn't there a week later. Things take time, give it more than 23 hours and you'll get setup. I'm no rhodes scholar, but I'm thinking a guy with Teach in his name, just might be pretty f'in busy the last part of August. Don't those kid things have to go the fuck out of the mall and go to school now?

A very simple "yes, he is" would have been sufficient, but thank you for your condescending response that pointed out obvious parts regarding his screen name and what time of the year it is. I was just curious; I'm not really chomping at the bit to send cigars to some guy I have never met before.

11 meet TJ. :nodlaugh:

This was actually a very mild response from TJ, but I think some people are tender around here since there seem to be a lot of posts about having to wait for this and that as of late.

The greatest part about this is TJ's signature...

One of the things that sets BOTL apart from other forums is the absence of this type of shaming/condescension. We have a private message feature for a reason, and even when we use it for correction, it should always be done in a positive manner.

And, yes, you might want to give it a few days before asking again. CATeacher does a great job with the thread and has throughly explained the procedure in the opening post.

Have fun, kids. This place really is the best.

I don't think there's anything wrong with how TJ responded. All noobs need to do is read page 1 of this thread and/or even just read back a couple pages to get an idea of how things work here. It's not like 11is1louder is new to BOTL either. Nothing against him personally, but a little patience goes a long way. It was after all not even 24 hours between responses.

Thanks to those of you posting your DC #'s.

All newbies waiting for a sponsor will need to read the first post of this thread and are expected to follow the rules.
