They might not have a date yet but I have noticed that since Saints and Sinners has opend we have not had as much tat info or talk as before.

It won't be an S&S release, I think I remember Pete saying in an interview that he is making a ton of the jars so I assume there will be plenty to go around. Once a release day is set I'm sure it will be published via twitter, blogs, etc.

EDIT, I also have noticed that Tat talk is not as prevalent here, guess SnS probably has something to do with that. Looked back at old threads and noticed that Pete would sometimes post here, guess he hasn't since he started his own forum.

Halfwheel said there was a plan for 10,000 jars to be made with possibly 500 bundles so should be plenty going around.

Last I saw, he posted something to instragram about how they're waiting on an insert of some kind to go in the jar to prevent the cigars from being damaged during transport.

Most everything I've seen people converse on these so far is bitching about the fact that the jar is plastic. Who cares? I bet the cigars will be great and I can't smoke a jar so what the hell does it matter. That's why I love this site, a little more objectivity here than at other places.

The plastic jar is kind if a bummer. I wonder if it will have any ill effect in the taste if the cigars. I've had a bad tuppador experience that makes me hate plastic.

I wouldn't worry to much about carry over aromas. Last thing Pete would want is a bunch of pissed off customers. As long as they are careful of the colorant and don't use or limit the use of mold release it shouldn't be an issue. They are most likely going to use poly pro and by itself hot off the press doesn't have much of a smell. But then if he's molding them in China all bets are off.

I was just notified by a retailer I frequent that the unbundled Tat Black CGs just came into his store. Mine is supposed to ship tomorrow.
