I just came into spending cash. I am looking to fill my newair 280 with some super flavorful sticks. Strength does not matter but flavor does.

Need some suggestions. If you had $600 to blow what would you do? I am also open to offers if someone is selling sticks too. Let me know. Thanks brothers.

do NOT buy just to buy! if you are not immediately inclined, based on your own experience, towards a brand or brands, the last thing you really want to do is buy boxes of something that may not be a perfect fit for you.

a little more info could help. what have you tried, and what have you liked? what have you only heard about, or had interest in?

This. Try a few things you've heard about and that you think might suit your palate. What turns you off? Too much N? Too bold a flavor? Creamy? Spicy?

Cheers on your coming experimentation!

Ok. I really liked a cohiba maduro rob, and a monte #2 someone let me try. I also just tried Ashton Vsg that i liked. Opus and padron 1926 80th was awesome, antonio 1970's and liga undercrowns are good but want more flavor and complexity too.

I like, creamy, nutty, some spice, cinnamom, nutmeg, sweet etc.. lol.

What I don't like, comacho triple mad, straight jacket, and young cigars that don't smome good outnof the box.

I hope this helps.

I am very inclined:)

I'd hit up a major reviewer, like Halfwheel, check their descriptions, see what sounds good to you, and start seeking out 5ers of those smokes.

I'd buy headley grange, T-52s and #9s, RomaCraft AtlAtl lanceros (sp?), padron 1926's the smallest vitola, pcrs, Illusione Rothshchilds and MJ12s and maybe a box of Liga Unicos if i could find them- L-40s, Rats, and Pigs in that order. Just a random sampling of sticks that i believe to be flavorful and delicious and would purchase if I had $600 for cigars haha

Look into Reinado GER, Tatuaje PCR (petite cazadores reserva), Illusione Rothchildes, Arturo Fuente Anejos (#46 or #77, hell I like them all though), Liga Privada UF-13, Man O War Ruination, 7-20-4 makes a good smoke as well. Padron 64 or 1926 maddys.

I would absolutely say DO NOT rush into buying some boxes. $600 is awesome - put it aside and start sampling. Try a bunch of cigars that fit your preferred profile, and if you like them buy 5. If after smoking the five you still like them, get 5 more. If you STILL think they're box-worthy, only then buy a box.

I could give you a list a mile long of my favorite full-flavored cigars... and the Cohiba Maduro Robusto isn't going to be on it. It's not full-flavored. The Antano 1970 would be.

You can ask for full-flavored sticks, but what difference does it make if it's full of flavor you don't like as much? My point is, you need to try cigars before buying quantity. Otherwise you're taking a shot in the dark.

Figure out what you like first, spend the money later. Patience is rewarded in this hobby of ours. Why blow a bunch of money now on cigars you've never tried when you could spend that money later on cigars you've tried and loved?

If you're dead set on buying a box, why not buy a box of something you already tried and loved instead of taking a gamble.

Tatuaje Petit Cazador Reserva. great little smoke packed with flavor. And the Illusione MJ12 is a fantastic flavorful cigar. comes in a natural and a maduro i believe. And as to the rats, pigs, and l40s, just watch here, people post up when they find them online. or you can try an In Search Of thread and see if someone is willing to hook you up.

Thought i would drop in and say Hi.

Mali
Some great advice above.

I love to try new sticks. I would add that you shouldn't get caught up on price tags either. You might love a six dollar stick and hate a twelve dollar one. Be open minded and enjoy the ride. A LOT of great options out there

You need to get with your friend and get some Ramon Allones Specially Selected. Based on what your preferred profile is (creamy, nuts, baking spices, some sweetness), that Island South of Miami is really where you'll find your huckleberry.

On the non-Cuban side of things, I'd look at:
-Oliva V
-Headley Grange
-A Fuente Hemingways (I'm partial to the Short Story or Signatures myself)
-La Aurora 100 Anos (tons of sweet cream and baking spices)
-Other Padron naturals (1926 especially)
