As I was considering a purchase that I ended up making from Famous the other day I looked on several other sites to see what type of pricing they had and on the particular boxes I bought, and it turned out that the deal couldn't be touched after adding in the 15% BOTL discount through Famous. However I came across the Atlantic VIP membership again and was wondering if it was really worth the $60 bucks? So a quick google search didn't bring up much, just a discussion on another forum where they had said if you liked Tat, then it was almost a prerequisite to sign up (this was back in 2010 when Tat was the hottest and highest brand in the land.) There was lots of talk about how people covered their VIP membership price on the first purchase they made. Thats great and all but now with cigarsatyourprice you can save $60 on lots of boxes of Tats there. Plenty of silly deals can be had at Famous and they ship a ton of stuff for free and offer the aforementioned BOTL discount. Lots of nasty deals can be picked up on the devil site, too.
I've purchased from Atlantic before and I like them, mainly because they get a ton of Viaje stuff in and I like the fact that I can pick up singles on most things that my locals don't carry before deciding if I want to jump in and buy a fiver or 2 or a box even. However, when making said box purchases I often times find that the best pricing isn't offered at Atlantic. Does the VIP membership merely level the playing field or does it really go above and beyond, allowing you to make some of the best purchases available on the market?
I also know that you are not allowed to discuss exact pricing so if anybody is more comfortable discussing this through PMs thats fine by me too. If you have the a membership and like it I'd love to hear from you or if you had it and it wasn't for you I'd love to hear why. Though $60 isn't the end of the world for me, I can certainly get a whole lot of stuff for that same money, so I'm really just trying to be an informed consumer here. Thanks in advance.
