Update: Hair in a cigar????

I was about to fire up a My Father no.4 lancero tonight. I cut the cap and noticed there was something sticking out of the top. So I pulled whatever was sticking out thinking it was just a random piece of tobacco and it appears that it was actually a wad of hair. Anyone have an idea of what I should do or if the thing is even smokable? I was really looking to fire it up since it has about 2 years of age on it but I am skeptical now.

A wad? As in not a single strand? Burning hair sucks, and smells horrible, i have long hair and have burned it a few times lol. I dunno how the cherry from the bottom will affect it at the cap area, so I guess it'd come down to whether you want to risk it or not

You can be the judge haha. I put it on some tape to keep it from flying away.

It happens. I've found a strand of hair a few times, but never a wad. One cigar had a piece of wood (1/4" x 2") in it. I've even heard of folks finding band-aids, rubber bands and other nasty things in theirs.

Since it was a My Father, I would send an E-mail with photo to the Garcias. Who knows, you may get some free smokes from it.

Yeah... I am gonna stick with a DE BOTL CG tonight haha. But will probably dissect it tomorrow to see if anything else made its way in there. Who knows?! Maybe I will find some winning lottery numbers!
