I admit it. Often I do not want the cigar to be over. I risk burning myself, and end up with only a nub left. Am I alone like that?

My first joya de Nicaragua and I wanted the most of it... the last third was still spicy and peperry, but a bit less fuerte. Or I just got used to its full body. I enjoyed it none the less thanks again to brother @Eric_kruger

I don't know how anyone can do this.

At 1.5" pretty much every cigar I've had is burning hot, and giving off flavors I don't want to end on.

I've had the rare cigar that makes it to 1.25" but that's about it.

How does that even taste anything close to good at that point?

Is that what it is, funny I thought that the Davidoff No 1 was amazing all the way to the end, kept that same warm bread and hint of cinnamon all the way to the end, I've smoked party shorts with a few years on them that have such a mellow creamy chocolate smoke at the very end it's like a dessert. You can enjoy your cigars that are painful, I'll pass

While there are cigars I wouldn't nub, when there is that one stick that is just perfect you hate for it to end, the flavors never get bitter, no glob of tar like some nic and dom cigars, granted I wouldn't smoke a yard gar to till it was burning my fingers, but there are plenty of sticks out there you don't want to end.
