Just saw on the Facebook page of Cigar Advisor that Drew Estate is releasing a Flying Pig. .a Kentucky Fire Cured version! I know some don't like them but I like the KFC line. Hope it won't be limited to a few boxes across the darn country.

I agree.

I wish he's make more of his current lines so they're readily available then creating more lines.

Got to keep creating more demand :)

I too enjoyed the kfc. Not an everyday thing but was a nice change of pace. Definitely wouldn't pay pig pricing for kfc tough. The kfc's strong point is the low price.

I too wasn't a fan of the kfc, maybe given the success of the HE, what would be the opinion of a Herrera Esteli Flying Pig. There are still people feverishly trying to find the HE lancero.

I think we all agree that we'd like to see more of Unico Line so we wouldn't have to jump through hoops and that price gouging would be less rampant

I have grown frustrated with DE completely taking the the elusive Unico's out of the equation just trying to track down Nica Rustica has been harder than it should be, granted it is now way easier to find them online but my b&m never gets any, and I really don't think the world is clamoring for another vitola of Under Crown which if you really did want to try has been a pain in the ass. I know Unico are suppose to be a semi regular production and Nica Rustica are regular production they should not be this hard to find. Also, there have been several posts/videos about how the weather has been detrimental to the tobacco yield but if thats the case don't call the sticks semi regular production make them a limited one and done and call it a day.

This is all coming for a Tatuaje fan boy but all of Pete's limited releases as of late have been easier to come by, I mean there are still jars readily available. I know its apples to oranges comparing the two but I am off the DE Bandwagon, if I find Nica Rustica on the shelves I'll grab it but I am no longer actively seeking things out, there are a lot of options out there at a great price point that are readily available that I'll stick with.

Rant Over :smokingbo

Limited Edition/Production cigars are a fun dynamic to the cigar industry. There are way too many great cigars out there to get worried about missing out on a release here or there.

Most of the time these cigars are limited because of the amount of rollers involved or availability of tobacco. Drew Estate is a HUGE factory and make a ton of cigars. If they were to dedicate a dozen rollers to each LE then production would suffer in other areas.

The chase of LE cigars is only as fun as you want it to be and at the end of the day it's just a cigar.

Like I said for awhile they seemed to be out of stock and most online retailers and my B&M gets a small allotment and never has them in stock, up until a few months ago they were relatively hard to come by and the launch was not all that smooth
