I hate to see the summer come to an end, particularly because I love smoking cigars outside so much more than at my local store. I cannot smoke inside, no garage, so I can only bear smoking in the cold, outside, till about early November. Then inside once a month to my local BM. I live in philadelphia and recent winters have been brutal. My question is who else feels the same about outdoor smoking, and any suggestions on how to make it through winter?

Opposite here.
Summer is a welcomed change at first. Then the swelter of humidity gets unbearably old about now.
Averaging 1 smoke aweek nowadays.
T-cool breezes and counting

I feel you in Detroit. Buying a good heater for garage this fall since the bm gets packed and it's more unbearable than the cold

Been great this summer here smoking outside...like right this moment :)

Me too. Smoking outside right now. Got me thinking about this. I have nowhere but outside or the BM. the BM gets so busy and so smokey that I can't even enjoy a cigar. I really want to get a car my wife won't use so I can smoke there.

Well, that is one plus about AZ. You can smoke all year round outside easily, unless you cant stand the heat. But then I just head over to a friends that has a pool and light up.

Thankfully this time of year I am able to enjoy a smoke on my back patio or in a chair next to my fire pit. Normally though my Mazda is my portable smoking lounge. It's well seasoned and does a great job year round through humid summers and harsh Minnesota winters.

Here in seattle you can smoke crack in a store before they'd allow a cigar so no B&M smoking here unless on the Indian reservation so off to the car I'll go!

I keep wanting to move somewhere warm but the wife doesn't wanna leave her family. Unless they all come with me it's Philadelphia for me. Once I return my leased car it's a mobile ashtray for me.

Winters aren't really that bad here, we may get a week of really cold weather, but a nice little garage heater... Summers are horrible though... That's when I look for a B&M to go to, smoke in AC for an hour or two...

Last year was a brutal winter for us and I spent once a week at my local B&M but their ventilation is horrible. Of course, as humid as our summer gets, you can end up with burn issues of larger sticks. However, I have a couple of options this Winter. There is a new Burning Leaf lounge not too far from me and I've been told the air exchange is pretty good. An extra 20 minutes of driving and I can meet Romulus Cogswell at La Vita and it's not been smoky the times I've been, and, of course, CdM

So this Winter season, I hope to make more trips to area B&Ms

I love the fall for smoking. Its my favorite season here in New York. Sometimes summer is too hot for me to sit out there baking in the sun smoking. Fall hits me right in the feels. I love it!

Being that I just picked up this wonderful hobby at the beginning of this summer I have no idea what to expect this winter. There have been some days where I was sweating while sitting down smoking outside and thought I bet a cigar on a cool fall night is going to be amazing. Last winter was pretty awful for us, city shut down on 3 different days for snow or ice after not having any snow for like 3 years. If that's the case it will be garage and the B&M for me.

The best is late night in the summer when the sun goes down. Fall is great because it is nice outside without being too hot. Winters in the northeast are just miserable. I have to travel like 20minutes to the BM and then 20minutes back. Figure an hour for a smoke means almost two hours away. With a small child, one on the way and the wife, it is not always practical. Usually means once a month during a cigar event.
