So my birthday is on Saturday and I think I want to take a trip out to CI or JR any recommendations? On which ci and rj to go to? I know they're multiple locations.. Figured might as well go and see what it's all about on my birthday and spend some moneyyyy lol .. Then come home and smoke some sticks .. Let it rip ! Also maybe some places around there to check out I don't care hit me!

Not sure about which shop you should go to, but, you should enjoy a cigar you know you'd like. Do go buy the most expensive cigar you can afford, you may not enjoy it as much as a $2 or $3 stick.

Happy Birthday, bro...

I'd nix both of those options. I've never been overly impressed with either - from either a comfort or selection perspective. Yes, they're massive, and there is something to be said for that, but I always find a local shop has a better selection of cigars I actually want to smoke, and the people are friendlier on the whole.

I can't speak for the CI location, but if you were going to trek to either of the local JRs, I'd suggest just going to Barrister Cigars or Sanj's or Fume or something instead.

happy birthday... skip them both and go to Famous-Smoke.com retail location (Leaf Cigar Bar). Full bar, HUGE walk in humidor, and a restaurant. Great selection, great prices (way better than anything in NY or NJ), and if nothing else, they are a site sponsor :)

From what I remember they will give you a free cigar on your birthday as well.

I have always enjoyed going to the old CI outlet. The people were great, small place, all their sticks. The new Barn, not so much. Famous is in the same vicinity and has a lot more to offer for a day trip. You could actually do both
