And, it's amazing to see the drama amongst grown men that a change in font on a flippin cigar band causes. Cmon boys! Smoke and be happy.
But but but... Doug!!! The band change is really about the representation of JD as big brother. It's a show of his power that he can manipulate Liga history with just a font change. The way we know of the UF13 will forever be lost and forgotten. We the people of forums will never forget about the quality of the leaf and better font quality of years past. We must rise up and stand up to the people who control this industry. The sacrifices we must make... Oh fuck it... I'm cool with the band change.

Getting back on track ;). When it's said to smoke them back to back to compare, do you mean one right after another? I would think if that was the case the first one might affect the second one. Am I right to assume that?

My personal opinion is that product labels are changed all the time. Most of the time with no change in the product. Smoke and enjoy them both when the mood strikes ya brother!

Somewhat difficult to answer but my personal opinion is that when comparing two cigars, I'd do them in two consecutive days as the one and only cigar you are smoking that day. Take notes and try to make the ambient conditions as similar as possible. I would have to agree that back to back would make it difficult as the first cigar would have an effect on the second. Especially with a strong cigar such as the UF13.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't recall another font change on any Liga Privada cigar. Other DE cigars, I have no idea. But Liga?
I also think I remember Saka saying that Liga bands are not going to change. In regards to a complaint about them being too hard to remove.
This change must be a result of swisher? But this seems a bit soon. No?

It's a band, around a cigar. If you like the cigar, who cares.... he'll if it's a good cigar it could be wrapped in ribbon with tassels and marked with puff paint for all I care!
I hear what your saying Tom and I absolutely agree. But the question here is actually, is it the same cigar. Has swisher taken over so quickly? Did they change the bands? Did they change the cigar? Seems kinda fast IMO. That can't be possible.

Their cigars have changed even using the same bands. T52s no longer made the same as they were. 9s either. The band change could likely be swisher influence, change in blend or leaf etc. It wouldnt be surprising. I heard with the T52 LP went the way of Ghurkha by just using different leaf without saying anything. But I dont know that for sure i just heard it.

Didn't think of that one :) But those were never an actual release, sort of. But as far as 9's, 52's, and the rest of the Unicos, I can't think of any.
Did the feral use to say "FFP" and now it says "FERAL"? Could be wrong, but I know I've seen FFP bands, but mine said FERAL.
