Lol I like the look of his pipes but am yet to see one in person, I just see em in the hands of giants like griz and kwilliams
I watch eBay for briars but a lot of them I'm unfamiliar with, I usually wait til I see one you guys have that I like then save a searchThanks! I traded a guy some HTF Ligas for the Hackert. The Northern Briars I got off eBay. It was a steal. I feel AlMOST bad.... Almost
Especially if you filled it entirely with Pirate Kake! The vast majority are serious hunks of briar, and there are a few that resemble a group 5-6 other than his smaller fishing vest pipes. I may be exaggerating a bit, but even my Boswell nosewarmer could be used for self-defense.
That's what I like about them. LOL. Group 6 sized pipes. The vast majority are serious hunks of briar, and there are a few that resemble a group 5-6 other than his smaller fishing vest pipes. I may be exaggerating a bit, but even my Boswell nosewarmer could be used for self-defense.
I think Dunhill started it, but now a lot of pipe makers use their sizing system. What's the deal with sized group??
Is it a standardized sorta system, I see reference to it but honestly am unfamiliar, somebody educate me

Man those Dagners are beautiful, nice pick up!
I've had a REAL hard time not pulling the trigger on one of these. Nice pick up!
The real question is how is it?
Looks very much like one of my Kaywoodie, Nice pickup. I love my pipe. So much that the shank broke in 3, repaired and still smoke it today. Mine has a different stem.I'll have some time off during the holidays so I needed a few estates to clean up and keep me occupied. Nothing spectacular here but I'm happy with my purchases, especially for what I paid.
First up, a Kaywoodie Fineline
I have three more estates on the way too and will post them when they show up sometime next week.
Give us the full report when it arrives!!Grabbed 4oz of the Milan Christmas Blend.
