Anyone driving, the thing we'll likely need the most is lawn chairs.. Please bring a few...
Other than that the only requirement is to bring yourself... Everything you need to eat/drink/smoke will be provided...
Usually a month or so before the HERF we'll get a list together of essentials like paper plates, napkins, soft drinks, etc.. And people will usually raise their hands on an item or two.. But it's completely unnecessary... I'll cover anything we're short on..
And the plan this year is to do a virtual pass of the hat a few weeks ahead of the HERF to buy food and other essentials. To keep those sort of costs off the guys booking bunks.. If they're paying for our HERF spot by virtue of paying for a place to sleep... It's not too much to ask for everyone else to chip in to cover the cost of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks...
If you have something "special" or "signature" you want to bring.. That's always welcome too..
Rev has been known to bring "pie" for everyone to sample... I usually make a big batch of Haitian Pikliz (think hot/spicy Caribbean slaw).. And this year I'm going to bring a bunch of wild boar that I killed on a hunt earlier this year for everyone to try... Last year javajunkie provided about a gallon of high octane coffee... Wantacigar shipped several dozen cannoli' to help offset the nicotine jitters.. Etc..etc...
But again... No requirement to bring anything but yourself... We just all want to get together and have a good time... Anything beyond that is just gravy...
