Just got a call from the insurance company. My kid (who just had his second accident in 6 weeks) managed to total his car this time around. Wife's having a total meltdown and taking it out on me (unusual for her, really). So screw it -- I'm sitting in my freezing ass garage and having an Anejo. Nuff said.

PS - having a beer too.

Life goes on, it's a blessing that he's ok and has the insight to make good decisions

Accidents happen, she'll get over it sometimes the wives just need to blow off a little steam and get it out

Hmmmm..... Anejo nice choice

with time it will come in to perspective for her.. senior year i wrapped my car around a telephone pole, probably shouldnt have walked away from that, let alone with just a scratch on my hand from broken glass

we guys tend to see ourselves as invincible, but these are life lessons that need to be learn.. sometimes the hard way

glad he is ok, hopefully it's a wake up call to drive safer

Thanks. Wife just shot me a text apologizing for getting angry at me, so between that and the Anejo I'm feeling better. Lord knows when I was younger, I had my share of accidents and tickets too.

Good to hear your wife is settling down. How's your boy taking all this?
Not well. He's just one of those rare kids that never wants to disappoint his parents. We keep telling him, "This too shall pass." He's really precocious and successful in everything he does, but when it comes to the driving thing he's awful. Live and learn, I guess!

Hey Zippogeek! Good to see you over here!
Sorry to hear about your son totaling your car. :(
Sounds like he's a good kid. Enjoy the cigar and brew!
