Do any of you guys indulge in a bit of corn mash occasionally? I ran across this article about the secondary market value of the Van Winkle bourbons. http://bourbonr.com/blog/pappy-van-winkle-secondary-market-prices/. Good Lord! If there are those of you who have never had a taste of some of these I intend to bring one of them to the Herf. Nothing but the best for the brotherhood!

I can assure you I paid no where near this price. Used to be readily available and very affordable.

We had a couple of bottles of Pappy at the last HERF (Im guessing we had 6 or 7 premium burbons.. another 2 or 3 premium domestic whiskeys.. and a couple of different premium single malt scotch options... as well as 5 or 6 different premium rums.. a ton of "apple pie".. a little white lightning.. and a wide assortment of craft beers..)..

Premium hooch is always welcome... We probably did more sampling and tasting of different fine liquors, coffees, beers, etc.. as we did sampling, trading, smoking cigars..

If youre willing to share.. I am certain there will be guys willing to sample

(there will be plenty of root beer, coca-cola, dr. pepper, sprite, and bottled water available for the non drinkers as well...)...
