What did you think of the secretos Ryan.

I enjoyed it and thought it had some underlying PL flavors, but a little stronger. Although, I smoked it immediately after the Choix, it was very late, it was cold and I was tired so I wasn't paying too much attention to it. I shouldn't have even smoked another cigar, but I was House of Cards binging. lol

Quick review

Surprising amount of kick for 2006. Would say medium+ strength, med/full on body.

First third had so much gong on it was hard to ball down any stand out flavors
Second third eased into a comfort zone and was very rich with cocoa/coffee sweetness going on.
Final third was more direct. Bold chocolatey flavor with little sweetness.

Burned well for being outside in my garage lounge. Couple touch ups but it was 15 degrees plus my haters so still dry.

Overall decent smoke. My jury is still out on JL as a whole. To me, the most NC like CC with respect to boldness.

Not particularly.

I have multiple offerings from them. Initially it was the JL2 which I blind reviewed for psjc and in the review guessed cc in first half but changed my thoughts to nc in second half. Have felt that way about the JL4 and this obus. Although I felt very differently about the seleccion no4 re which was the most different of the bunch
