Great looking pipe! How would you compare the morta to briar?Penzance in an Askwith morta bulldog.
They tend to get a little bit hotter to the touch then briar. As long as you keep the cake to a minimal they can be smoked daily. Being bog oak it has a little bit of an earthy flavor to it. Lat blends seem to do real well in it.
