I know the hype train is full steam ahead on these releases right now, but I'd love to hear from some people who actually smoked them, as well as share my own experience. I just wrote a review where I gave the Holy Braille a 75: http://www.botl.org/threads/caldwell-lost-found-holy-braille.79654/ I'm not trying to go out of my way to bash these or start a million threads condemning them, but I am genuinely interested if anyone has had great experiences with any of the blends or if anyone at least smoked it and feels that they got their money's worth.
Halfwheel gave the Holy Braille an 86 but they had less constuction issues than I did. They also reviewed the Silent Shout and gave that an 80. Based on those 2 reviews and my own experience I would say that these are a fine example of how price and hype doesn't make a great cigar. I hope other people have had better experiences than I did.

I've tried the Silent Shout, Pepper Crème Soda, Crème Machine, Stout and the Back Door Bambi. Most were decent smokes, none were great. Only the Back Door Bambi ended up as terrible.

On a 100 point scale I would give the following cigars:

Silent Shout - 75 The bitterness turned me off.
Pepper Crème Soda - 84 Pretty good smoke. One dimensional and it felt like it should have a little more kick to it.
Crème Machine - 86 Same as the Pepper Crème Soda but I enjoyed this one a little more.
Stout - 87 Liked this one.
Back Door Bambi - 52. I was in a shape of a cigar and it lit. That's is all I can say about it.

I ordered a box of Pepper Cream Chocolate Crush yesterday. I'll give them a shot and report back (when I get them). Based on others on BOTL, I'm thinking I fell for the hype, but I like trying new things and it certainly won't be the most money I've wasted on something stupid (there was this one time in Vegas...never mind). If they're any good, I'll spread the love to some of the folks with bad experiences here.

Lol. I had to go look at the pictures. It's amazing how many buttons they leave unbuttoned on their dress shirts. It's quite amazing...

It seems to me that:

Caldwell Brands = good
Lost+Found = risky

The problem is that these were likely smoked by Caldwell after being stored properly for who knows how long and were probably great smokes. Then they got handled, boxed, shipped in small batches to whoever packaged them, packaged, then shipped again to retailers, then shipped again (in most cases) to the consumer. I'm guessing these just need some serious down time, and they'll all be good smokes. Incredible, maybe not. Good, sure. Worth it? I doubt it.

I've smoked 2 Silent Shouts. The first one was off the charts good. The second was just a good solid stick. Coulda been me, coulda been the stick.
I've smoked 1 silent shout and enjoyed it. They price point was on point for the cigar. I don't think it was better or worse than a papas fritas, but worth the $23/5er. I have a pack of cream machine that I haven't tried. How good is it going to have to be so I'm not disappointed with the $12/stick price? I'm not sure. Maybe why I haven't smoked one yet. I did not participate on the most recent release. My perception is that it appears to be a money grab by the hottest names in the industry. Maybe I'm wrong and they will be the best cigars out there. I doubt it.
