I'll be in Miami tomorrow morning and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to stop in and possibly pick up some sticks. Has anyone been before or smoked their stuff recently? Any thoughts at all would be helpful. Thanks.
Yes, both the El Oso and La Colmena lines are rolled at ETdB. Which is probably why they are so damn expensive. Damn good though.Don't they roll the El Oso line from Warped? I just had a Mama that was fantastic!
Thanks for the heads up on that. I wouldn't head over the El Titan de Branze to grab La Palina or Warped lines that I can get from site sponsors for a discount though anyway, I just really wanted to know if their own in house blends were worth trying or if I should just save my money and time. The answer seems to be that it is worth checking out though and I will do so tomorrow afternoon.FYI, you can't go into El Titan de Bronze and buy La Palina or Warped as they avoid competing with local retailers who purchase those lines. I believe they have bundled cigars for sale. El Credito across the street carries both of those lines. El Credito used to be the factory of La Gloria Cubana, but it is now just a cigar store. The Little Havana Cigar factory which is also on 8th Street about a quarter of a mile down has a great cigar selection, and amazing Cuban coffee. It's worth going to El Titan de Bronze just to see the rollers at work. I was there a few months ago, and they had about 15 rollers.
My fiancee and I are flying into the Miami and then its off to the Keys for us, if there was more time to mess around I would have tried to herf with some Florida guys. There's always next time I suppose.Btw, are you only going to be in Miami? If you make your way to to Broward let me know.
