For years I've been a robusto lover. I've recently been enjoying a lot of cigars in the 38-46 rg, 4"-6" range and find myself reaching for the smaller gars when I open my humidor. So I'd like some recommendations of small vitola cigars that you guys are fond of. Kill bill (1 &2) and papas fritas are 2 high on my list right now.

I've been on a bait fish binge lately. I like the papas fritas too, but I save my cash for bigger smokes ;) I really wanna get my hands on some of those cracker crumbs I keep hearing about. Haven't had a chance to try them yet.

There's a ton of fantastic recommendations above and I just have to throw one more in... The brand new limited edition man of war dark horse. It is on par with the papas Fritas in size and flavor at under $3 a stick. Get them at cigar.com asap because they likely won't be around long!!! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431310925.987920.jpg

So many smokes, so little humidor space! Another one I've been wanting to try out. I really like the ruination, just smoked one last night

Also, if you like Man O War, the MOWPA (Puro Authentico) are great at a sweet price as well. They are a corona sized cigar.
Always liked A.J.'s stuff but for some strange reason I just never got around to the man o war stuff until just recently. Thanks for the tip on that particular one I'm going to have to add it to my shopping list

It really depends on what you're looking for. There are a myriad of amazing small rg sticks.

I think based on what you've stated you're enjoying right now (Papas Fritas & KB) you should look at the following:
-Warped El Oso Cub/Mama. A great offering by Kyle and team, a delicious, earthy cigar with a clean finish
-Dirty Rat. You thought the Papas Fritas was good? They got nothing in this.
-L40. Same thing.
-Tatuaje Noella Reserva. Earthy, dark chocolate, espresso... amazing.
-L'At 44 Maduro. Been a while since I had one, but iirc they're rich and delicious. Lots of cocoa and espresso notes.

If you're in the mood to try something different than dark stuff, here are a few of my current favorites:
-Caldwell Long Live The King - The Heater; medium bodied, complex, creamy.
-Warped La Colmena; a lighter, medium bodied delicious cigar. You just have to try it.
-Crowned Head Four Kicks. I'm loving anything corojo right now.

Oh and any Partagas or Bolivar with an rh under 50, particularly the Boli CJ and the Partagas 898.

The MOWPA come in a Maduro or Habano wrapper. IIRC, the habano was the one I gravitated towards, but both good.
