I'm getting him right back on the horse tonight, this time with a root beer in hand!
He really did - I was proud of him!
He's already talking about "next time." Awesome kid. Off to college soon. I'll miss him dearly.
The one and only (so far) time i puked it was a CAO America Monument canada day last year, empty stomach, second cigar of the day when i only have one a week, very hot day and dehydrated. Knocked me on my ass. Last week i had a oliva v torpedo on an empty stomach. Stood up and quickly got a rootbeer and after a few min all was good.
Best dialogue of the whole sordid episode:
Dad: You okay?
Son: I've got the shakes pretty bad here. Is that normal?
Dad: Yep!
Son: Well that sucks! How long does this last?
Dad: Thirty minutes.
Son: Well that sucks!
Dad: Do NOT tell your mother! This goes to the grave with us...got it?
(fist-bump)

Yeah buddy....this is cheap entertainment by far. I remember when my son and his buddy got into my humidor when I was at work and they had a few cigars and I came home and they were upstairs moaning and groaning....I walked up there expecting maybe something else was going on?????? To my surprise and being forever grateful they just were sick from the cigars they smoked.
