That sounds right, unless it's a flavor that I generally like (not necessarily in tobacco but overall) then I might order 2 ounces. Although some brands it's actually cheaper in bulk rates to order four ounces than it is to order three. I can't remember which brand it is but one of brands that P&C sells in bulk used to be quite expensive for 1-3 ounces but the price drop at the 4 ounce mark made it something like 10¢ cheaper to buy 5 ounces than 3. So just watch for that price drop at the 4 ounce mark.
Otherwise, yes, I would stick with one ounce if you're not sure (unless some brother unwisely posts something about how much they love a particular tobacco - then order a bunch of it and, if you don't like it, bomb it to him! <grin>). I would also order other stuff to make the shipping worthwhile, of course.

It's that time again - we're looking for suggestions for the BOTL October Pipe Tobacco of the Month!

The winning baccy from that poll will be crowned our October PToM, then we'll all light up and review it together!
We'll do nominations for a couple days, then I'll build a poll from that and fill in any gaps with suggestions from prior months that haven't been used yet.
