Nica Libre
Montecristo - Afrique
Ramon Bueso Genesis (either one)
Alec Bradley - American Sun Grown ($4 at local shop)

I have picked up Diesel Unlimited Maduros and Man O War Puro Authentico Maduro for $3 each on Cbid.

Edit:
Also, the Padron Londres is usually easy to find under $4. It is a top notch petite corona. I think small batch has the 26 count box for $109. Then with the BOTL discount they are less than $4 each.

Hands down:

http://www.holts.com/cigars/all-cigar-brands/old-henry.html

Get on their daily email list and wait for the Old Henry specials. They are handmade and created at the Don Pepin Garcia "My Father" factory in Nicaragua. We had a chance to see them being constructed during a trip in June, and they are by far my favorite inexpensive cigar.

Hate to say it, but Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970s can be had for about 4/stick. Those I could smoke everyday if:

1) I could smoke everyday
2) there wasn't better smoke to be had
Agreed. Great, great smoke. Also saw these being hand rolled at JDN in June. Divine smoke, unbelievable price.

Good call @sean

Hi five, brochacho!

@Eric - speaking of, can we get a hi-five button instead of this "Alwayslit" thumbs up? Part of me cringes everytime I click it. @jwintosh, you know what I'm talking about...

Absolutely !!
If you ever catch an Asylum Schizo, the profile is not exact, but quite similar. Maybe even slightly more complex since there is the chocolate bean / leather transition. The wrapper is actually a little darker than illustrated, with a slight oily feel.
I still have the schizo you gave me, I'll have to fire it up soon.

For budget smokes (around $3-4), you can't go wrong with AJ Fernandez. The man o war and diesel are great for the price. He also blends a lot of cigars for other manufactures. Do a little bit of research and you'd be surprised. I remember smoking a, ahem, Gurkha park avenue. Thinking it would be absolute garbage, I was actually surprised, and then I found out it's an AJ blend.

However, that WAS years ago, and I only smoked one, so don't go running out buying park avenues, just an example.

Yeah, the p is great for the price. I think it would be rated higher if it didnt have the tatuaje name (high expetations for the brand).
i will add the I just got a ten pack of fallen angel devils ink (aj fernandez). A nice smoke and i got 10 for only $25. i rather enjoyed the first rott.
One other is la reloba which comes out of the my father factoey. Very nice for 25/$80 or so a box.
