As the title states my fellow BOTL, please help me choose a special smoke for that night (Feb 27)...I'd like something to make this night stand out from the rest...if you have an idea and know if I can get it from a B&M, online retailer or though a brother here, please let me know that as well...thanks in advance!!

I don't really have a specific flavor profile in mind, as I'm still developing my palate but I'd like it to be something great that anyone who smokes it would say "Damn that was amazing" lol

A couple of suggestions. I am assuming you will be buying a few to share. If so then check out the L'Atlelier line including the ER 15 and regular L'Atelier line. Want break the bank and it's a great cigar. For something special for yourself the DPG 10th anniversary is just outstanding.

You'll be too inebriated to appreciate real flavor, and like the celebration of bachelorhood, the cigar is also a farce!

Real answer: Personally I would go with a bargain stick that's well respected. Something like a Padron x000 Maduro or a Fuente Chateau series, that would appeal to smokers and non-smokers alike, but are inexpensive enough to hand out to non-smokers who will smoke a quarter of it and put it out.

I would hand out Ramon Bueso Genesis Habanos from CI, they're $2ea on cbid, they smoke better than most $8-10 cigars, and newer guys and vets both love them.

Alternately, Jose L Piedras, also $2-3, or Quinetero Favoritos, $4-5; Cuban so people will think you're awesome, budget friendly so expendable, and still taste great.

honestly if you can get your hands on some CCs for your buddies I would say that's the way to go. assuming they aren't really cigar guys a CC would be more mild in flavor and has the whole "mystique" to it that would make it that much more special to someone who i'snt like us. not only that, but regualr production CCs are actually really reasonable price wise.

For yourself, I'd say you know what you like the best and you should smoke your favorite stick. rather than seeking out something really rare and expensive that you haven't tried yet and may not really enjoy. If you insist though, maybe see if you can't get a casa fuente from one of the bros here. I hear they're quite good.

Yeah I get what you mean and I guess it makes some sense, I was just thinking like people always have these "special occasion" cigars so I was thinking maybe that's what I should lean towards

I agree with what everyone else said. If it were me I'd probably grab a bunch of fuente's, maybe untold story or something like that- a biggish stick that's good and everyone could appreciate. For yourself whatever floats your boat.

Just grab a bunch of opus and call it a day. Or liga, or HR's or Tat cojonus, or, although I hate them, padron anni's. All should be readily available, who cares about price, you only get married once. Wait, you live in nj, so...(jk muff cabbage)
