Boxes or no boxes?

For all of you guys that have a drawer set-up in your winos...do you prefer to leave your cigars in boxes and play tetris? Or do you prefer to remove the boxes and store them in the drawers? This question is purely out of my own curiosity.

Everyone told me that when buying boxes I didn't need drawers, but I think I prefer to pull sticks from the boxes and put them in drawers to maximize my usage of space. So for me right now, I have about half and half. I keep some in the boxes, and I break others down out of the boxes and load them up in the drawers.

I bought my wino thinking I would use it for box storage but once I got drawer set up it didn't work out that way... I then had to either make my mind up for another wino or other humi.. I found a tower at a good deal so I snatched it up for my box purchases.. I find myself keeping my singles and higher quality sticks in my wino

I always keep in the boxes as long as they are over half full. Especially when dealing with CC's. Easiest way to track codes and keep from mixing them up. Also, prevents damage to the sticks without cello.

I use boxes for full-nearly full boxes. Anything half empty gets emptied out into singles storage to free up space.

I've got 4 drawers and two shelves. I took a shelf out to make more room. The top is now full of boxes and I've resorted to putting boxes into plastic bags with a boveda until I figure out something better.

So you're saying you need storage?

I usually leave in their boxes, unless it gets to less than 25% full and I have space elsewhere to take them out

I prefer drawers over boxes, I get annoyed when I have to play tetris and then open the box and move all the paper out of the way and quickly grab a smoke before the wife hears what I'm doing and tells me no! Drawers would be so much easier, I need to have some made for the fridgeador.

For CCs, I just leave them in boxes until they've got 10 or less, then I write box codes on them and transfer to a drawer. For NCs, I rarely buy by the box (except to split), so it's not an issue, I just put the fiver in a drawer.

Same here, once it's down to around 10 in the box I put em in the drawer
