Kerr Half Pint Wide Mouth.
These jars nest properly so the bottom of one fits inside the lid of another.
I've tried a bunch of brands, sizes, and styles, and settled on this.
Super stable, both individually, and when kept in flats.
Not the cheapest, but by no means the most expensive either. Can usually be found online for less than $1/ea in flats of 12, and sometimes with free shipping if you watch for sales.

Watertight plastic storage bins here too. Might come in handy when this tropical storm hits sometime this weekend.
