So working at a B&M I probably get three to four calls a week asking for the No. 9 and then when they find out we are out many grumble most complain. This is honestly a major pet peeve of mine simply because I can't get behind the hype. I love the t52 and I even like the 9. But the Liga series almost has a cult like following. What are yalls thoughts?

I've never really understood it. Nice cigars but there are better to be had for the price. And the current LP9's don't taste like they used to a few years ago.

I do too but it feels like they have an Opus like following and I don't believe they stack up to the hype. Personally I think it's just the limited release that hooks people.

I don't feel they are that limited anymore at least. Maybe not at your B&M, but I can purchase them pretty easily. Now trying to find older ones is a different story.

In Michigan, Ligas are mostly everywhere. Never really a shortage around Detroit.

youre right, ppl are super gay for LP for some reason even though theyre now owned by swisher. I dont even like em that much aside from a couple unicos sticks which are way overpriced

That's interesting that it's hard to get at your B&M. Ligas are everywhere now. Even the limited run stuff is pretty much selling everywhere on the internet. Secondary pricing is in the dumps because of it. Now the Ligas not smoking like anything like the older releases is another thing. I wouldn't even pay retail for any of releases in the swisher DE era.

Then they've gradually gone downhill in my not so humble opinion. Almost running out of pre 2011 ones which stinks.

I started smoking in 08 so I missed the pre '11 sticks but overall DE quality has been taking a nosedive
