H Upmann: all of them over 44 rg especially the Connie A and Mag46.
Bolivar: Belicosos Finos and Corona Gigantes if you can find the CG in a couple months (recently discontinued).
Montecristo: Petit Edmundo
These are my favorites without duplicating vitolas in different marcas. So many more good ones but just depends on what fits your tastes.
Cuba ROCKS the Corona/Petit Corona/Minutos (42rg) in my opinion. Montecristo No3, Bolivar Petit Corona, Partagas Shorts.
Find a BOTL or a source and spend 500 on a couple each of 20 different cigars now then spend the 4-5000 on boxes of what you liked on payday.

$5K can net you some amazing theoretical boxes, but getting a list like Chucks is easier said than done. Would you be willing to sit on boxes for a while (3-5+ years)? If not, I wouldn't buy any Cohiba because you won't get the most bang for your buck. Hell, 2 boxes CoRo, 2 boxes Sig IV, and 1 box Sig VI would chew through close to half your budget. Do you want baller stuff or do you want a large selection? If you play sales right and grab deals when available you could net over 25+ boxes with that kind of cash, sticking in the robusto and corona gorda range, with a few belicosos slipped in if thats your thing. DCs and Churchills will kill you though, price wise. A cab of something that size will run $650ish and crush a good chunk of your budget, but if its something you're into it could be well worth it.

Chuck's list is a good basis for everyday smokes.
I would swap out the Sir Winnies and Libertadores for Upmann #2 and Boli beli finos, add RASCC, el Principes, Boli cj.
variety needs breadth of sizes, and IMO, 2014 was a very good year for Cubans.

they are not everyday smokes from a cost and time to smoke standpoint.
Hardly regular production over the last three years.
They are in the "special" category for me, along with LGC and Cohiba.
stay on topic, Charles........
probably 75% of my stock is 2014,I went deep expecting to find that the bad crop years would bring quality down.
It happened.

Lmao, unless youre talking about mostly undesirable sticks off CoH, then no, 2014 stuff is most certainly not easy to get. Not impossible, but not an easy find either. But for the sake of argument, sure John, go get those Hoyo Des Dieux, Upmann Sir Winnie, LGC MdO 2 and QdO Coronas from 14 (forget that guys like Chef can't even find those QdO boxes laying around for a halfway decent price and have been ISO on them for about a year.) While you're at it, don't forget to grab a couple cabs of JL 1, a few cabs of SS2, and some Cuban Davidoff boxes to boot. If you've got magical connections like Chuck has, then it shouldn't be a problem at all, and you'll get them cheaper then any other known sources out there too! Forget the fact that this magical source is unknown to ballers on scale far beyond Chuck, and forget that this source with these super HTF items is only charging a pittance of what they are actually worth. Chuck claims it to be true, and thus it is Gospel.

Call it luck :)

And cuban davidoff? come on bro... chill...

Stuff is out, might not be guaranteed delivery... but its out there.

You flip, you know the vast amount of stuff that can be had via un guaranteed vendors.
