Tried a couple more from the Joya line. The reds, Antano 1970, dark corojo are all faves. The cabinetta was great with coffee this morning, wish it had just a little more Maduro. The black is box worthy and will probably be my next box purchase.

Smoked the Claro Robusto Rott. huge blast of spice or pepper at the start, felt like my tongue was burning. mellows out quickly, cedar and earth dominant. Caught some sweet notes in there. Monsoon rolled in out though and really rushed the last half.

I'm reserving judgement, got potential I think. Going to let the rest of them sit for a few weeks. The petite corona is almost the same size as the lonsdale

Installed my first head unit and speakers. And God damnit, I wanted a celebratory cigar. I reached for this Opus X that's been residing in my humidor for years. Effortless draw and razor sharp burn. Very sweet caramel and cream, coffee, and baking spices. Medium strength with a white pepper note through the nose. I wish this cigar would last forever.

Interesting story behind this stick. It's a H Upmann # 2 from a box that got fully submerged in distilled water when a gallon bottle tipped over. I gave most of the box to my cousin but keep a couple. Now I see I should have kept them all. Very mild but nice sweet flavors.
