What do you all think about maybe starting a lotto group?

Where I live they have the Mega Millions, currently the jackpot is $267 million, Participating States: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Washington.

We can pool the money, nominate one person in on of the participating states to purchase the tickets and see how things play out. Instead of doing it with the winnings being cigars to maybe money to purchase cigars! It can be an ongoing thing for jackpots at least that reach a certain monetary amount and then we pitch in and buy ticket or we can make in perpetually ongoing.

Just an idea...

I normally buy a few tickets to the lottery when it gets to be a large sum ... and $267 million is definately on the large side. So I'll go purchase $20 worth today ... and if anyone wants a piece o' this action, please post on this thread and tell me how many entries you want.
