Check your humidity. Wipe it off. Rotate your sticks. You'll be fine.

All kidding aside, wipe it off, smoke it. I had a box of RASS do that. Cleaned em up and kept an eye on them. Might want to segregate that box or any cigars that were in close proximity. Just to be safe.

And check the inside bottom of your wineador to make sure condersation isn't forming a puddle of water.
hehehe...You can put that stick on craigslist and claim it has reached its prime. Probably get like $50 for it. Look at the plume! It must be valuable! In my business, we call that mycelium.
Boveda says it's fine for direct contact. I've had boveda touching my cigars in my wino forever and never had any mold issues.
Same here. I have five drawers in a wineador, one large humidor and a overflow Tupperware all with bovedas sitting on top. Never had an issue.

Oh yeah that's bad. .. if it's in the foot it's really bad. .. if you start cutting it back and after an inch there's still mold. .. health risk is now your biggest problem.
Segregate the other cigars from what you found. .. clean out the humidor/Tupperware/storage. .whatever... and calibrate your equipment and watch out for the affected cigars that shared space with that wicked evil moldy oldy.

Is this a problem that you've had yourself? Since boveda themselves say it's fine—it's a selling point, in fact—I'd like to know what you experienced.
