I haven't used a desktop humidor in a while (since I bought by cabinet), but was thinking about bringing my old desktop to work. Anyways I'm going to have to get a new humidification device. I'm interested in something that is easier to maintain than the sponge and was looking at either the Boveda Packs or the Puck. I don't know much about the RH Beads, but what I've read it looks like a good product. I was just wanting to know what you guys thought about these products.

Thanks

Go with the Puck.

It works like a charm and as long as you use distilled water the beads will virtually last forever. The Boveda will need to be replaced every three to six months.

definately go with the puck.

works beautifully, no replacing (except for distilled water), and it replaces most in-box hygros without taking up more space or worrying about where to put it

I'd go with a tube of beads from Heartfelt. I absolutly love the beads.
plus there are varies sizes to optimize the humidity of a particular size humi.

I love Boveda packs, but they're appropriate for short-term storage. I don't think I'd use them in a desktop humi, personally. I'd go with the Puck.
