The regular Partagas line doesn't do much for me, but the series S isn't bad at all. The Black, however, is an entirely different animal. If you love stupid-dark maduros, you can't go wrong with the Partagas Black Label!

I still feel myself as a newb to this, I get plenty of joy sitting in the back yard smoking and watching my dogs play. Heck, I couldnt wait till my wife came home from the store to tell her about it. She was like, "Why did you not wait for me?" Her and I spend hours reading reviews on cigars before we go and buy a couple to try out. Its fun....

I'll add my two cents about Partagas Black: it's at least as good as everyone has been saying here! I like the Bravo better than the Maximo, though.

I used to enjoy regular Partagas when I first started smoking. They were a milder, but well made Dominican brand. A far cry from the cuban version though with their strength and bold flavors.

Oh there's absolutely NO comparison between the NC and CC Partagas brands. No similarities whatsoever. The CC Partagas is vastly superior and very bold.

But having said that, I still dig the NC Partagas Black. :yes:

yes! the latter months, if i remember correctly! i have a box of the septembres, about 2 years on them. send me your addy and i'll hook you up with a pair!
