What are your thoughts on this Sampler?
Full of goodness or full of crap?

IMO, nothing great, only a few I know I would smoke, never heard of the Nat ciccas. I personally wouldn't buy it, but I'm lucky enough to know for sure what I like. If you're still trying to figure out what you like, not a terrible buy, but I'm sure you could do better.

Can vouch for that Aroma de Cuba! Other than that...never tried any of them. As far as samplers go, i do recommend Fox. They're a bit pricier, but the cigars seem to be extremely well curated for their samplers.

Just looked on Famous...they have some pretty solid samplers on there. Thinking about getting the Maduro and the grilling one.

This is roughly the general consensus across the several forums I posted this on.

I have been solely focused on cc's for about the last year and a half, so I'm a little out of touch with nc's and the few i have tried recently, which were ones I used to love, did nothing for me, so apparently my tastes have changed so am looking to try some new nc's instead of just buying a bunch of old favorites and ending up disappointed.

Most seem to be of the opinion i could buy a dozen better smokes for the same price or less by going with others recommendations and doing a lot of reading in the various what are you smoking today type threads.

Appreciate everyone's input

What's this "coordination" you speak of? Is it anything like uncontrolled chaos?

I’m thinking we use one address to receive the sticks, and then that person fills up a box and sends it out! But that’s a bit too controlled...
Or
We can all agree to just blow up the mailbox of @Jrfoxx once his address is received.
No tracking posted.
No warnings.
Just send it!

What about a bunch of us getting together a sampler for @Jrfoxx?
All we need is an address and some coordination...
A very generous offer.
I greatly appreciate the thought.
Very great community on this forum.
Always kind and always helpful

So, here is a self made Sampler of sorts that I'm considering.

Any thoughts on any of them would be greatly appreciated .

Based mainly on a few things i have enjoyed in the past, some that got good Cigar Aficionado ratings (yes, i know how most people feel about them, but i have very limited options for guidance), and some from what I see people smoking on the several forums I belong to.

Damn, now that's a sampler! Well, can't vouch for the Bradley's, but other than that it's pretty top notch.

I had a mundial, I forget which exact vitola, in either the CRA Freedom Sampler or the "95 rated plus " Sampler from I forget where, about a year ago and recall really enjoying it. Fairly certain it was this vitola though.

Glad to hear that you think its a nice selection of good one to try. Almost all of them are new to me, and being out of the nc game for close to 2 years I'm kinda blind on what's currently smoking well or is popular

I think I tried one Bradley that was branded for the local chain liquor/wine store and remembering it being decent, but that's literally the only one I've tried. I'm SUPER biased toward Fuente/Ashton and Dominican sticks in general...I just love the flavor...so when I see those I automatically perk up haha.

Yeah, I have been a big Fuente fan for a long time.
Even met and hung out with Carlito Fuente when I was in Casa Fuente in las vegas.
Very cool guy

Now that one looks MUCH better than the original.

I am not a fan of Rocky Patel or Alec Bradley in general but that does not mean that they don't have some good cigars with in their lines.

I have enjoyed most of the rocky Patel's I have tried, although its been years ago now, and received this particular alec Bradley in a Sampler i got a couple years ago and enjoyed it as well. Have also had some other alec Bradley's years ago as well and enjoyed them according to my notes in my humidor app
