I was looking through my various wishlists on cigar sites yesterday, and spotted the Warped Corto. That is my favorite Warped cigar and I used to smoke them religiously. But I haven't bought a box in about 3 years, and have been out of them for at least 2 years. With all of the new cigars constantly coming out and my other 30 favorites clouding my stogie-buying vision, I just kinda forgot about them. I couldn't believe it! So, I bought a fresh box(y):giggle:.

Has that ever happened to anyone else? If so, which cigar was it?

I'm still relatively new to this whole thing, so I tend to discover favorites, then buy a 5-10 pack of them "to age" and then move on to trying nothing but new ones in the search for more favorites. :ROFLMAO: That said, I am completely out of non-maduro Hemingway Best Sellers...which are probably my #1 pick.

My dad gave me a CAO Gold on my 18th birthday. He smoked cigars from birth and succeeded in getting my brother into them, not-so-much with my sister, and now it was my turn. I gave it a try bc I liked the way they smelled, but mostly bc my brother had been hyping them... I hated the Gold. Typical noob; thought my saliva was turning brown, was afraid to swallow, wanted to spit, and so on. But they were just wicked gross. So were my dad's Fuente's. I honestly thought cigars were a guy thing. Maybe a few weeks later, he gave me a CAO Cameroon. I was a good sport until now, but this was the last one. I still had noob tendencies, but for some reason, after like, two or three, this was the cigar that made me go, "I get it".

TLDR: But now it just seems like there's always something... higher on the list to buy.

The chase for cigars is over for me. Now it’s the chase for pipe tobacco... haha. I will still smoke the stogies, but certainly fewer and farther between. But, one I remember always wanting more of is the Aging Room F55. Good smoke.

On a possibly related note - I'm beginning to figure out that lots of my dark/Maduro sticks are smoking kinda sh*tty because of the humidity around here. I NEVER have relight/bitterness troubles with any smokes except those. Think I need to dry box those in particular for a couple days before smoking.

Yea, I keep two full traveldors at 62%. Just won a 40/60 count Herfador from Cbid and ordered some large 62% Bovedas for it. Should be able to keep about a month's worth of smokes in dry box with enough variety that I can select what I am in the mood for.

@Mikenice81 I'm old and people expect me to do weird things, do you have an excuse? :giggle:
