Anyone else planning to smoke something special for the 4th?

What Cigar are you planning?

For me its a 2012 Cohiba Esplendidos I was generously gifted months ago and have been saving for something special.

Will be my first ever Esplendidos, and a nicely aged one at that, so it will be a very good choice to celebrate with.

Rarely know what I am going to be in the mood for in advance, I will probably decide about 5 minutes before I light it.

I will drink some good USA whiskey for sure, as I doubt any of my cigars will be from here.
Me too typically, but I have been dying to try the Esplendidos for a while now

Nothing like celebrating America by smoking a Cuban Cigar!!

I'll be smoking a Corona All-American FSG Experimentals Cigars

100% US grown tobacco rolled by JC Newman in their Ybor factory in Tampa Florida
That's cool.
I don't have any all American made Cigars currently, or I would smoke one Sunday

Never heard of those, will have to look into them as I enjoy most JC Newman smokes

OK I didn't even know US made cigars was a thing !!! that is cool

But cant we say that our drive for independence from England started with the un reasonable taxation of foreign goods ?????? say imported cigars????? (yes i know it was tea)
but it was still a leaf

just thinking out loud here

Have a good independence day..... be safe and God bless America

Actually tea arriving in the colonies was controlled by the English government and we where still English subjects.
That is correct, the colony was NOT alowed to import anything, all imports were controlled by England and the un reasonable tax on said goods did help start the independent movement.
